1. Who we are

MogMax AI ("MogMax", "we", "us") makes the mobile application MogMax AI - LooksMax AI Rating for iOS and Android. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we send it to, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

If you have any question about this policy, write to info@mogmax.ai. We answer within 30 days.

2. Summary

MogMax analyses a photo of your face and gives you a rating and improvement advice. To do this we upload your photo to our servers and send it to our AI providers. We do not create a faceprint. We do not use your photo to identify you. We do not sell your photo. Photos that you send to an AI tool are deleted automatically within 30 days, and you can ask us to delete everything else at any time.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Photos of your face and body

See section 4 for the full explanation. This is the only sensitive category of data we collect.

3.2 Account information

MogMax does not ask for your name, your email address, or a password. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account with Firebase Authentication. That account is a random identifier ("UID"). It is not linked to your real identity.

3.3 Information you enter

You can tell us your gender, your age range, your goals, and your country during onboarding. You can also type messages to the in-app AI coach. We use this to make the advice more relevant.

3.4 Purchase information

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card number. Our subscription provider, RevenueCat, tells us whether your subscription is active, which plan you bought, and when it renews.

3.5 Device and usage information

We collect the app version, the device model, the operating system version, the language, the country, crash reports, and which screens you open. We use this to fix bugs and to improve the app. This information does not include your photos.

On iOS we ask for your permission before we use the advertising identifier. If you refuse, the app works normally.

4. Face data

This section describes our collection, use, disclosure, sharing, storage, retention, and deletion of face data.

4.1 What face data we collect

We collect photographic images only. Specifically:

A front photo of your face (a selfie). This is required for a scan.
An optional side profile photo of your face. You can skip it.
Optional additional photos that you choose to submit to a specific tool, for example a hairstyle tool, a skin tool, or an outfit tool. Some of these photos show your body and not only your face.

You supply each photo yourself. You take it with the camera, or you select it from your photo library. The app asks for your permission before it opens the camera or the photo library. You can refuse, and you can change the permission later in the device settings.

From the photo, our AI provider returns a text result: a score for each facial feature, a written comment, an overall score, an estimated age, and an estimated nationality. We store that text result together with the photo.

4.2 What face data we do NOT collect

This is important, so we state it clearly:

We do not create, derive, or store a faceprint, a face template, a face signature, a face mesh, or any other mathematical representation of your face.
We do not use the TrueDepth camera, ARKit face tracking, Face ID, or any depth map.
We do not perform facial recognition, facial identification, or facial verification. We never try to match your face against any other person, against any database, or against another photo.
We do not use your face data for authentication, for security, or for advertising.
We do not sell your face data, and we do not share it with data brokers.

4.3 How we use face data

We use your photos for one purpose only: to produce the result that you asked for and to show it back to you. In detail:

To generate your attractiveness rating and your written feedback.
To generate your personal improvement plan and the answers of the AI coach.
To generate an edited or simulated image when you use a tool that produces one, for example a new hairstyle or a new hair colour.
To show your own past scans to you in the History screen and the Progress screen.

We do not use your photos to train our own AI models. We do not show your photos to other users. The leaderboard shows generic placeholder images for other people, never their real photos.

4.4 Who we share face data with

We share your photos with the service providers below, and only so that they can perform the processing that you requested. They act on our instruction. We do not permit them to use your photos for their own purposes.

We do not send your photos to any analytics provider, any advertising network, any social network, or any other third party. We disclose personal data to a public authority only if the law obliges us to do so.

4.5 Where face data is stored

Your photos are stored in Google Cloud Storage for Firebase, in a Google data centre in the United States. Each file is saved under your anonymous UID. The rating text is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, also in the United States. Access is restricted to the MogMax operators who need it to run and support the service.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your data is transferred outside your region. The transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission, which our providers apply.

4.6 How long we keep face data

Photos you send to an AI tool, for example the hairstyle tool or the outfit tool: we delete these automatically within 30 days of the upload. This deletion is enforced by an automatic rule on our storage, so it happens whether or not you ask for it.
Your scan photos and your scores: we keep them while you use the app, so that your History and your Progress screens continue to show your own progress over time. We delete them when you ask us to delete them.
When you request deletion: we remove the photos and the results from our live systems immediately, and from our backups within 30 days.
If you stop using the app: we delete the photos and the results of an account that has been inactive for 24 months.
At our AI providers: OpenAI keeps API inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and then deletes them, and does not use them to train its models. Kie.ai deletes the generated files according to its own retention period.

4.7 How to delete your face data

Send an email to info@mogmax.ai and ask us to delete your data. Include your User ID, which you can copy from the Settings screen inside the app. We erase your photos, your scan results, and your anonymous account, and we confirm this to you. We complete the deletion within 30 days.

Deleting the app from your device does not delete the data on our servers. Please use the method above.

4.8 Your consent

We process your face data on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you choose to take or upload a photo for a scan. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your data as described in section 4.7. Withdrawal does not affect the processing that happened before.

5. Children

MogMax is not for children. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app, and at least 16 years old if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect data from a child below that age. If you believe a child sent us a photo, write to info@mogmax.ai and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

Give you a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correct data that is wrong.
Delete your data.
Restrict or object to our processing.
Withdraw a consent that you gave earlier.

Write to info@mogmax.ai to use any of these rights. We do not charge a fee, and we do not reduce the service if you use them. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by California law.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest on Google Cloud. Access to the production systems needs an authenticated account. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to protect your data and we will inform you if a breach affects it.

8. Subscriptions and payments

MogMax is free to download. A paid subscription is required to unlock the full scan results, the AI tools, and the improvement plan. The price and the period are shown in the app before you buy. Apple or Google collects the payment and manages the renewal. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Details are in our Terms of Use.

9. Changes to this policy

We can update this policy. We will change the date at the top of the page. If a change is important, for example a change to how we use face data, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
